Ingredients

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix flour and baking powder together in a bowl.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Incorporate milk, vanilla extract, and pink food coloring into the mixture.
  6. Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
  7. Fill cupcake liners about two-thirds full with the batter.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool the cupcakes completely on a wire rack before frosting.
  10. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar in a bowl until smooth and fluffy.
  11. Frost your cooled cupcakes and add sprinkles if desired.
