- 2 sticks Salted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon Hazelnut liquor (optional)
- 2 1/4 cups Flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 3/4 cup Toasted pecans
- 1 cup Powdered sugar or vanilla sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Beat together the softened butter, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Combine flour, toasted pecans, and salt into the butter mixture, mixing until well incorporated.
- Roll the dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place them on prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until cookies are set and beginning to turn golden.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then roll each in 1 cup of powdered sugar while warm.
- Finish cooling cookies on wire racks and roll in powdered sugar again for a snowy finish.
