Description

These Snowball Cookies are a delightful holiday treat with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and nutty flavor, perfect for any dessert table.


Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Salted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Hazelnut liquor (optional)
  • 2 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup Toasted pecans
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar or vanilla sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Beat together the softened butter, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  3. Combine flour, toasted pecans, and salt into the butter mixture, mixing until well incorporated.
  4. Roll the dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place them on prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 12 minutes or until cookies are set and beginning to turn golden.
  6. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then roll each in 1 cup of powdered sugar while warm.
  7. Finish cooling cookies on wire racks and roll in powdered sugar again for a snowy finish.
