- 6 small flour tortillas

Instructions
- Portion the ground beef into 6 loose balls, preparing them for easy shaping and cooking.
- In a small bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, and optional cayenne pepper to create a flavorful seasoning blend.
- Lay a tortilla flat on a work surface, sprinkle a handful of shredded cheese over it, then place a beef ball in the center. Use your fingers to spread the beef evenly and thinly over the cheese. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and beef balls, then sprinkle the prepared seasoning mix evenly over the spread meat.
- Heat a large cast iron or nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add a drizzle of oil and swirl to coat the pan. Place the tortilla beef-side down in the skillet. Using the back of a sturdy spatula or burger press, firmly smash the tortilla into the meat, twisting slightly to spread the beef more thinly and evenly. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the meat is browned and crisp.
- Carefully flip the tacos and cook for approximately 2 more minutes until the tortilla turns golden and crispy. Remove from skillet and transfer to a plate.
