- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 10 ounces fresh spinach, washed and chopped
- 8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped spinach, crumbled feta, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the ingredients.
- Unfold the puff pastry sheet and roll it out on a lightly floured surface to a 12×15-inch rectangle.
- Spread the spinach and feta mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Starting from the short side, tightly roll up the puff pastry into a spiral log.
- Transfer the spiral log, seam-side down, to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush the top of the spiral pie with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and flaky.
- Allow the spiral pie to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
