Description

These Roast Beef Sliders with Hawaiian Rolls are easy-to-make appetizers featuring tender shredded roast beef, melted American cheese, and a flavorful butter sauce on sweet King’s Hawaiian rolls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pkg 12 count King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 2 cups shredded roast beef
  • 12 slices American cheese
  • 3 Tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or garlic paste
  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds or sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 2 Tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350℉. Prepare a 9×13 inch pan by spraying it with cooking spray or lining it with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  2. Use a serrated knife to carefully slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise.
  3. Combine the mayonnaise and garlic powder in a small bowl. Spread this mixture over the bottom half of the rolls.
  4. Layer the shredded roast beef over the mayo-coated bottom rolls. Place a slice of American cheese on top.
  5. Melt the butter and stir in the brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Brush this butter sauce over the top of the rolls.
  6. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Remove the sliders from the oven and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Transfer to a cutting board and cut into individual sandwiches.
  8. Sprinkle parsley flakes and grated parmesan cheese over the top if desired. Serve warm.
