- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, chia seeds, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the buttermilk, honey, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
