- 10 sheets phyllo dough
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or hazelnuts
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lay one sheet of phyllo dough in a 9×13 inch baking dish, and brush it lightly with melted butter.
- Repeat this process with 4 more sheets of phyllo, brushing each layer with butter.
- Spread the Nutella evenly over the top layer of phyllo.
- Top the Nutella with the remaining 5 sheets of phyllo, brushing each layer with butter.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the layered phyllo into diamond or square shapes.
- Bake the Nutella Baklava for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
- Remove the Baklava from the oven and drizzle the honey over the top.
- Allow the Baklava to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
