- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 large egg yolks

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of softened unsalted butter and ½ cup of white sugar. Beat together until light and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add two egg yolks and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until well incorporated and smooth.
- Gradually beat in 2 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour and ½ teaspoon of baking powder. If crumbly, use your hands to bring it together.
- Load the prepared dough into a cookie press and shape onto the baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned.
- Allow cookies to cool on the sheets for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar once cooled for an extra touch of sweetness.
