Description
These Jalapeno Popper Twists are a deliciously easy and crowd-pleasing appetizer. Buttery crescent roll dough is filled with a creamy, cheesy jalapeno mixture and twisted into mouthwatering bites.

- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced fresh jalapeños (or 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Starting from the wide end, tightly roll up each triangle into a spiral. Twist the rolled dough into a pretzel shape.
- Place the twisted dough pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with panko breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the twists are golden brown. Serve warm.
