- 1 cup Butter
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 large Large egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 12 pieces Large marshmallows
- 1 cup Chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- Holiday sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and both sugars until light and fluffy, then blend in the egg and vanilla.
- Combine these with the dry ingredients until well mixed.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets, keeping them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9–10 minutes. After baking, press a half marshmallow into the center of each cookie.
- Return cookies to the oven for another 1–2 minutes until marshmallows soften.
- Let them cool completely on the baking sheets.
- Melt chocolate chips and heavy cream together, then glaze over cooled cookies, adding sprinkles if desired.
- Let the glaze set before serving.
