- 2 large eggs

- 8 cooked sausage patties, cut in half
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined (do not overmix).
- Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full.
- Press a sausage patty half into the center of each muffin, then sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Drizzle the warm muffins with maple syrup before serving.
