Description

Creole Butter is a quick, easy-to-make compound butter that infuses rich, authentic Creole flavor into your dishes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Creole seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, Creole seasoning, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and chopped thyme. Mix until well incorporated.
  2. Lay a sheet of parchment paper or plastic wrap on a clean surface. Scoop the Creole butter mixture onto the center of the paper/wrap and shape it into a log, about 6 inches long.
  3. Wrap the log tightly in the parchment paper or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  4. When ready to use, unwrap the Creole butter log and slice into rounds. Serve the Creole butter as a topping for breads, seafood, vegetables, or anything you’d like to infuse with bold Creole flavor.
