Description

A refreshing and tangy Cranberry Jello Salad that combines cranberry gelatin, whole berry cranberry sauce, crushed pineapple, and citrus zest for a vibrant holiday side dish or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (3-ounce) packages cranberry flavored gelatin
  • 1 ½ cups boiling water
  • 1 (14-ounce) can cranberry sauce, whole berry
  • 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, not drained
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the 2 packages of cranberry flavored gelatin to 1 ½ cups boiling water. Stir continuously until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  2. Stir in the entire can of whole berry cranberry sauce, the crushed pineapple with its juice, followed by the orange and lemon zest. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients evenly.
  3. Pour the combined mixture into a large serving bowl. Cover the bowl, then place it in the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours to allow the Jello salad to set firmly before serving.
