Description

Festive Christmas Sprinkle Cookies are soft, colorful sugar cookies made with cream cheese and butter. They are rolled in holiday sprinkles and perfect for celebrating the season.


Ingredients

  • 17.5 ounce bag sugar cookie mix
  • 4 ounce (½ 8-ounce package) cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup (½ stick) salted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • Red food coloring
  • Green food coloring
  • ½ cup Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the sugar cookie mix, cream cheese, butter, and egg until a soft dough forms.
  3. Split the dough into two bowls.
  4. Add red food coloring to one bowl and mix until uniform.
  5. Add green food coloring to the second bowl and mix until uniform.
  6. Pour sprinkles into a shallow bowl. Form balls of dough and roll in sprinkles.
  7. Place the dough balls on the baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  8. Bake for 8 to 11 minutes until edges firm up.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 3 to 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
