- 4 pieces peppermint candy canes (crushed)
- 1 cup whipped cream (add a generous dollop)
- 4 small peppermint candy canes (for stirring)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, gently heat 4 cups of milk over medium heat until it’s hot but not boiling. Stir occasionally to prevent scorching.
- Once the milk is heated, whisk in 3 ounces of chopped semisweet chocolate and 4 crushed peppermint candy canes until melted and combined.
- Pour the hot cocoa into four mugs, topping each with a dollop of whipped cream.
- Add a small peppermint candy cane into each mug as a stirring stick.
