- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1 & 1/2 tsp vanilla flavoring

- 1 & 3/4 cup all-purpose flour + 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup Captain Crunch cereal, finely crushed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Extra crushed Captain Crunch cereal for rolling the cookie dough
- 2 tsp butter, softened
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 3 oz cream cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
- 2–3 tsp milk or half and half
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla flavoring, and butter flavoring, mixing until fully combined.
- Add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cornmeal, and finely crushed Captain Crunch cereal. Stir until fully incorporated.
- Using a large cookie scooper, portion out 10 equal cookie dough balls. Roll each ball in extra crushed Captain Crunch cereal. Place on the baking sheet and flatten the tops gently.
- Bake for 9 to 10 minutes until lightly golden and set around the edges.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
- Cream together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until smooth.
- Add 2 teaspoons of milk or half and half and stir. Adjust consistency as needed.
- Drizzle or spread the glaze over each cooled cookie. Top with crushed Captain Crunch corn cereal and berry cereal bits.
