Description

Delightfully soft and flavorful Strawberry Kiss Cookies made with strawberry cake mix, cream cheese, and butter, topped with a classic strawberry ice cream cone kiss.


Ingredients

  • ½ Cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 Box strawberry cake mix, 15¼ Ounces
  • ½ Cup powdered sugar
  • 8 Ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 egg, at room temperature
  • 36 strawberry ice cream cone kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter, egg, and cream cheese together in a large bowl using a hand or stand mixer until creamy and smooth.
  2. Beat in the strawberry cake mix until fully combined and there are no dry lumps remaining.
  3. Place the dough in the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
  5. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Using a 1-tablespoon cookie scoop, portion out dough balls and roll each ball in your hands.
  7. Roll each dough ball in the powdered sugar thoroughly, then arrange them on the prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges have set but the centers remain soft.
  9. Press a strawberry ice cream cone kiss onto the center of each warm cookie immediately after removing them from the oven.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool completely on the baking sheets before transferring to a serving plate or storage container.
