- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Ginger
- 1 medium Shallot
- 1 pound Ground Pork
- 1 medium Carrot
- 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Tamari
- 3 stalks Green Onions
- 1/4 cup Cilantro
- 8 leaves Cabbage Leaves
- 2 tablespoons Tamari (for drizzling)
- 1 tablespoon Sugar-free Maple Syrup
- 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Oil
- 1 tablespoon Lime Juice
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of water until it reaches a rolling boil. Blanch cabbage leaves for 1-2 minutes until bright green. Transfer to an ice bath.
- Sauté in a large skillet by heating olive oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped shallots and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger.
- Brown ground pork in the skillet for about 5-6 minutes. Add grated carrot, fish sauce, tamari, chopped green onions, and cilantro. Stir well and remove from heat.
- Prepare each cabbage leaf by cutting a V-shape at the base. Place 2-3 spoonfuls of filling in the center and roll, tucking in the sides.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange rolls seam-side down in a baking dish. Whisk together tamari, maple syrup, sesame oil, and lime juice; drizzle over the rolls.
- Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes until heated through and tops are caramelized.
