Description
One-Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta with Spinach is a rich, comforting dish made with garlic, creamy sauce, and fresh spinach.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces dry pasta (penne or fusilli is recommended)
- 3 cloves garlic (freshly minced)
- 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
- 2 tablespoons butter (for sautéing garlic)
- 4 cups fresh spinach (stir in last)
- salt (to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter and gently sauté minced garlic until fragrant and golden, about 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
- Pour in broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine, then add dry pasta. Bring to a gentle boil, ensuring pasta is fully submerged.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens, about 12–15 minutes.
- Off the heat, fold in fresh spinach leaves, stirring until wilted and vivid green, about 1–2 minutes.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan over pasta, stirring until melted into the sauce for a silky finish. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
