Description

Rich, smooth, and chocolatey homemade mocha syrup for coffee that transforms any latte or iced coffee into a café-style treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp Instant espresso powder
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Chocolate chips (Optional)
  • 0.5 tsp Cinnamon (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk sugar, cocoa, espresso, and salt in saucepan.
  2. Add water and heat on medium, whisk until smooth.
  3. Bring to gentle boil, simmer 3–4 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla.
  5. Cool, strain, and store in bottle.
