Description
A warm, gooey Cranberry Brie Biscuit Dip recipe perfect for holidays. It features creamy brie, tart cranberry sauce, melted cheddar, and buttery biscuits baked in one skillet.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (12.3-oz) round brie cheese, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded white cheddar
- 1 sprig rosemary
- Drizzle of honey
- 1 (16.3-oz) can refrigerated biscuits
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut each biscuit in half and roll each half into a ball. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and freshly chopped parsley. Arrange the biscuit balls in a ring around the edge of a medium oven-safe skillet, brush each biscuit generously with the parsley butter mixture, and season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Place the brie wheel in the center of the biscuit ring. Using a paring knife, carefully remove the top rind of the brie to help it melt evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the brie is soft and melty.
- Remove the skillet from the oven, add the cranberry sauce and shredded white cheddar to the melted brie. Gently fold the cranberry and cheddar into the brie until combined, smoothing the cheese mixture into an even layer. Place a sprig of rosemary on top. Return the skillet to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheddar has melted.
- Once baked, drizzle the dip with honey for a touch of sweetness. Serve the dip hot alongside the buttery biscuits for dipping.
Notes
- Removing the brie rind helps the cheese melt more uniformly.
- Use freshly chopped parsley for bright flavor in the biscuit butter.
- Rosemary can be substituted with thyme or omitted.
- Use a cast iron or any oven-safe skillet for best results.
- Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.
