Description

A warm and comforting casserole featuring cauliflower and broccoli, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, chopped
  • 1 head of broccoli, chopped
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the cauliflower and broccoli for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Drain the vegetables and place them in a greased baking dish.
  4. In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the shredded cheese to the saucepan and stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Pour the cheese sauce over the vegetables in the baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for a crunchy texture.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
