Description
Cowboy Sliders are mini burgers with tender beef patties, melted cheese, and tangy toppings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 8 small hamburger buns
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, gently mix the ground beef until just combined, being careful not to overwork it.
- Divide the beef into 8 equal portions and shape them into small patties, each about 3 inches in diameter.
- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
- Assemble the Cowboy Sliders by placing a patty on the bottom bun, then topping with lettuce, tomato, and a drizzle of barbecue sauce. Cover with the top bun.
- Serve the Cowboy Sliders immediately while hot and enjoy!
