Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and 1/4 cup brown sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. This creates your basic baked oatmeal mixture.
  5. Pour half of the oatmeal mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the swirl: 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon melted butter.
