- 1 store-bought or homemade pie crust
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
- Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one by one, then add vanilla.
- Stir in flour and salt until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips (and pecans).
- Pour filling into crust, bake 45–50 minutes until golden.
- Cool 30 minutes before slicing.
