- 2 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup Flour (optional, for dredging)
- 2 tablespoons Shallots (or onions)
- 2 cloves Fresh garlic
- 4 tablespoons Butter (or oil)
- 1 cup Heavy cream (or half-and-half, dairy-free alternative)
- 1 cup Low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Fresh herbs (thyme or parsley, for garnish)

Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Dredge them lightly in seasoned flour if you want extra crispiness.
- Heat a generous amount of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and keep it warm.
- In the same skillet, add the shallots and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Let it reduce slightly for about 2 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and fresh lemon juice. Allow the mixture to simmer for 3-4 minutes, thickening to create the luscious sauce.
- Gently place the seared chicken back into the skillet, spooning the sauce over it.
- Simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving.
