Description

Indulge in the ultimate Cherry Amaretto Tiramisu – a decadent, coffee-infused dessert with a boozy twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup Amaretto liqueur
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 pound mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup pitted fresh cherries, halved
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the cooled coffee and Amaretto. Quickly dip the ladyfingers into the coffee mixture, coating both sides.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar together until light and creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, fold the mascarpone into the egg yolk mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, arrange a layer of the coffee-soaked ladyfingers. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then top with half of the cherries.
  5. Repeat the layers, ending with the mascarpone mixture. Dust the top evenly with the cocoa powder.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or up to 24 hours, before serving.
