- 1 pound chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup buffalo sauce (Frank’s Red Hot recommended)
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 2 tablespoons blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing
- Fritos scoops
- Baguette slices
- Carrot sticks
- Celery sticks
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, sour cream, buffalo sauce, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese thoroughly using a large spatula until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the bottom of a 1.5-quart baking dish. Then sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top to ensure a cheesy crust.
- Place the baking dish uncovered into a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted, bubbly, and golden around the edges.
- Remove the dip from the oven and immediately drizzle with blue cheese or ranch dressing. Serve warm with Fritos scoops, baguette slices, and fresh carrot and celery sticks for dipping.
