Description

Soft, gooey banana bread cinnamon rolls with cream cheese glaze; the perfect homemade treat that combines the best of banana bread and classic cinnamon rolls. Ideal for weekend brunch or a cozy breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 pkt instant yeast (2 ¼ tsp)
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mash bananas and mix wet ingredients.
  2. Add dry ingredients and knead until smooth.
  3. Let dough rise until doubled.
  4. Roll out dough and spread filling.
  5. Cut into rolls and arrange in pan.
  6. Let rise again.
  7. Bake until golden.
  8. Prepare glaze and drizzle on warm rolls.
